I hereby suggest that a ‘notes’ feature be implemented for the friends list. The notes could contain things like ‘LFG Fractals 18’, ‘Good warr to party with for dungeons’, ‘likes jumping puzzles’, ‘fun to party with in wvw’, etc.

This allows us to have more context for which players we have on our friends list and it would be useful to have for those of us who cant remember why everyone who is on our friends list is on our friends list.

Another idea is like what battlenot had.
A section at top of friends list where you could leave a message any time, that all friends would see any time you changed it.

I’d like to see something like this added. I’ve added so many people to friends but forget who they are eventually and remove them again.

There is the nickname function that i used. I nicknamed someone for example “Necro who likes CoE”. The problem is that these nicknames reset after a patch (to me at least), after which i have less of an idea who these ppl are. Some people have weird unreadable names.

If this is implemented, they have to make it so it doesnt reset along with servers. Or at least let the nicknames not reset. The only problem with “Necro who likes CoE” is what do i call him when i say hi?
