At present I frequently feel as though I’m spending more of my game time reporting bots in an attempt to help you get rid of them than I’m spending actually playing the game. When I come to a place like Lapati Grounds (Bloodtide Coast) on my server today and see 30+ bots swarming all around (seriously….there are at least 30) there is no possible way I’m going to be able to report them all and if I even tried to it would take me ages.

So could we possibly get a bug report option “report bot swarm” or something to that effect that lets us just say “if a live GM were to log in to this server and go to this location they would instantly see many, many, many bots.” If you have the staff to actually do this in a timely manner it would save you an immense amount of time tracking down and verifying individual reports, and players might actually take the time to file a single report if they thought there might be some sort of follow-up.

Note: if I seem a little frustrated it’s because I’ve frequently stopped and spent 5-10 minutes to report a swarm of bots and then, for whatever reason, returned to the same location a week or more later and seen the same bots — yes, same name, same everything — still running around there. It makes it very hard for me to muster up the interest in taking the time to report them when it feels like nothing is being done at your end to follow up on those reports.

Yes, I know you’re purging bots at an impressive rate, but as someone who is playing the game I can tell you that I see more and more bots and bot-swarms every day so it looks like you’re losing that battle (maybe you haven’t gotten around to killing any on my server yet?) and need to find a better strategy for nailing them down, and I don’t think it’s fair to expect players to allocate large chunks of their playing time to being your “eyes on the ground”…so please either get some eyes of your own on it, or make it far easier and less time-consuming for us to help you.

I agree, its like playing pikachu with the bots. Trying to catch them all is very hard.

One of the bot swarms I used to see in Frostgorge has been missing for a few days. Wonder if they’ve been busted or just on vacation.
