since player to player trading is not an option. How would it be, to add the ability to trade an item for another item.
For example you need some iron ore and you have tons of copper ore, you could offer a certain amount of copper for the iron…or lets say you are lucky enough to get a Dawn but you don’t want that one, you need the Legend instead.

If you need an item, in the trading section (that would have to be put in) you could look over trades for items you need to see if anyone is offering a trade you want to do.

Don’t really know how they would implement a tax on this, anyone who wants to give a layout on how this could be done, add to the idea. Just one thing, I think that if there is some kind of tax it should be considerable less than a auction.

I would imagine this being:
1. You are talking with a stranger or friend about trading
2. You both open up a black lion trade exchange window by clicking trade on each other.
3. You both put in whatever item/money you want to trade.
4. When you both hit accept the trade will be complete and you will get a message saying that you need to go to the black lion trade company to retrieve your trade goods.

Makes more sense than posting in the black lion trading company that you want to trade a certain item for another, but your idea is still solid.

Its a good idea but it would make the economy way too complex, I think… I mean every item should be worth an amount of every other item.
People not used to trading would certainly be in a disadvantage since they could be trading their items for less than the market equivalent in a harder to notice way than it is now.

True but sometimes the value of a certain item is worth more or less to the player so they would sometimes be willing to pay a little bit more for a certain item as long as they are making profit (or making whatever it is they want to make).
