Make duels available everywhere except the main cities but also create an area in those cities just for dueling and hanging out. in all mmos i played duels were the only thing to keep me entertained until something came up.

Or can you please just add a map you can get to from LA. The map would consist of multiple arenas all in different sizes and terrain. You could even add stands surrounding the arenas. The moment someone steps into the arena they become hostile to all except those in their party (would allow for 1v2, 2v2, 3v3, etc). A lot of people want to duel in your game, please listen to your player base.

Yes, I agree add duels.

I already read something about duells and that the game designers don’t like to implement duells because they say it destroyes the group-based pvp-system.
In my opinion Arenanet tries to hard to protect the players among themselves in pvp. For example there are no emoticons that can provoke somebody, or the fact that in WvW no names of the opposing servers are shown.
I totally agree with you guys that duells have to be implemented because as you already mentioned they are one of the two things that kept me playing; arena matches and duells.
