As a player in Anvil Rock it is hard to find a solid group simply because there are only 20-40 players, and not all of those 20-40 in the heart of the mists are A. Not top tier B. Already have a group C. just doing hot joins.
Further, I believe by adding an inter-server chat, players can form groups at an accelerated rate or vise-verse join groups. Simply because the chat in interconnected throughout all the servers.
This also accounts for players in pve/wvw although there is already inter-server communication in Lions Arch.

Allrdy mentioned thousand times. Seems like the concept of the old districts (international etc.) was not what they wanted, so they just made 50 different servers where in every server 10 ppl sitting there together waiting for other ppl, which ironically are scattered on the other 49 servers.
Do the simple math and recognize that this calculation won’t work out even.

Waiting on A-net to get to this probably isn’t a viable solution.

This is the kind of thing that the community can handle faster and more efficiently.

BTW, if you have this problem on Anvil Rock you do realize it is worse on every other NA server by a mile right?

“Academy of the Mists” is trying to create the kind of LFG system that you are looking for by rostering regular tPvP players in a guild (not really a repping guild) and providing a public C3 channel where folks can congregate to form up their parties. Hopefully we can start to pull in more actives and really make this work.

too much noise… some LFG tool would be much better… just like when you look for a party to dungeon, it would have an option for LFG tournament with some limits like rank or rating or profession or role etc sounds better then inter-server chat imo, no spam
