I think one, if not the best thing of this christmas event is the bell. Being able to almost reproduce perfectly lots of songs is really a very addictive thing for the people that have the dedication to learn or want to have fun. It’s kinda a game inside a game, someone can spend hours playing the bell and having fun and also entertaining other people.
With that said, why not add more musical instruments to the cash shop? Pianos, guitars, drums, harps, etc. The cash you guys could make by adding the indestructables and also the consumable instruments would be really something to considerate. I for one, would buy all of them if they were available.

I would say to add them to the game, but the RNG from loot drops is bad enough as it is.

I think there’s an amazing idea afoot here.

Let us impess you Anet. I spent a good 1/4 hour today in LA with two other bell musicians playing Xmas music today. I hope this wasn’t a fluke chance encounter. I almost can’t wait for the season to pass so I can stop spending so much time writing and performing the “holly jollies”.

Give us the tools to play on 3 octaves with half notes. We will stun you, if you do.

Those bells are really impressive, I have to say, especially when you encounter someone who’s skilled with them. There was a player in Lion’s Arch the other day who played a bunch of songs: some Zelda tunes, the Chocobo theme from Final Fantasy, Jingle Bells, etc. Some of us just sat there and watched for a while, having a great time. I tipped him a couple silver for the show. It was a really positive experience, and it would be really nice if instruments like these were permanently available to more players.
Imagine the YouTube videos people could make of their amazing concerts! Once those get out there on the interwebs, it will draw more attention to the game in general!

Of course, I can imagine the down side as well — having to put up with countless “practice” sessions in town. Ugh.

We totally need some Mabinogi magic in this game. The musical variety!

I support the suggestion on the condition that drums are implemented. Imho 800 gems for a single instrument and 1800 for a triple pack would be correct prices.
