Merging several different threads creates confusion, makes the merged thread difficult to read/understand and end up with discontinuity.

This is because many different ideas and opinions are all being herded into one topic.

I would like to suggest a tab feature in merged threads where each OP is layered at the top of the screen, similar to the page number tabs so that all feedback is grouped in one area, but separate issues are clear and easy to read.

I think merged-threads should unfold, thus displaying individual threads inside the merged-thread – like a temporary “sub-forum” within the General Discussion forum.

It would make it easier to continue discussion within the individual “sub-threads”.
