Allow necromancer pets to heal over time?
I agree, I have both lvl 80 ranger and warrior and I wanted to play a mage class as well and none of them interested me apart from the necromancer, the fact that I can summon 6 minions was pretty cool and I played about up to lvl 20 and I noticed the minions didn’t have health regen and their life lasts about 1-2 battle/fights so I just ended up deleting the necromancer.
You are able to heal them. Mark of blood will give them regen (in combat at least… gotta have baddies trip the trap), also, Well of Blood works wonders. I THINK it will heal them, but I’m not 100% sure since I don’t run an MM necro.
It will heal them. Any area heal spell will heal them. Howerver, I would not mind if they healed themselves out of combat. Hunter pets do that. Heck, even if it is a trait somehwere. Put it together with the extra HPs to pets. So if you invest in minion traits, they will get that bonus.

If you’re playing a minion master you don’t have Well of Blood – you need the slots for your minions – and Mark of Blood works, as you said, only in combat, which sucks due to its rather low heal.
I agree with the OP, Minions should heal out of combat just like players do.
Occam Pi (Ele), Acaena Elongata (Warrior), Finja Salversdotir (Ranger),
Bytestream (Engineer), Vim Whitespace (Thief)
Using the Well of Blood takes up the Blood Fiend slot.
Aside from that, Mark of Blood is dependent on being in combat, the place I specifically don’t want my necromancer pets to be at low HP to begin with.
