Allow players to change his/her character's voice.
they already have over 60 hours worth of voice content. while you might not like the voice that you have, it would be too much to ask Anet to provide an additional voice for each race/gender combination. that alone would take so long to implement, and it sounds like you want more than just two options, meaning arenanet would have to spend countless hours making sure that voices and lips interact the same way, that the voice actors speak at the same speed so as to save time on the animation side, or they’d have to add much more animation for the cinematics when the player character speaks. it’s too much for so little.
I don’t think he’s asking for additional voice over work.
A simple pitch/tone modifier would work just fine. People would get what they’d want and no additional VO work would be required.
“A release is 7 days or less away or has just happened within the last 7 days…
These are the only two states you’ll find the world of Tyria.”

aaaaaaahhhhhhh. that would make much more sense.
I’ll say +1 this, but if the option to change aspects of current characters isn’t implemented, won’t it be a wasted feature for veteran gamers?
Server = Desolation
Guild = Miscellaneous

not really. It’s not a wasted feature for more classes or races to be added, if you want the extra feature you have to make a new character since you didnt have the option beforehand.
Same line of thought in my head, though i dont think it came out the way i wanted it to.
Voice packs in the gem store would be great.
Even better would be tone and pitch distortion options that lets us slightly modify already existing voices.
I’d like to give one of my engineer asura a higher pitch voice, while I want a deeper, husky voice for the necromancer.
And I’d like to make my human thief sound like whispering, but my human guardian sound like singing.
