Allow us to dispose of dead bodies
Actually, players time out after 30 minutes of inactivity. When you are dead you can’t do anything so the max amount of time a player can remain dead is 30 minutes.
Ah true, I stand corrected, still, 30 minutes is probably too long to wait for them to go away on their own.
Actually, if you keep swapping armor, you stay “active” indefinitely.
I’d like for us to have an ability to dispose of these corpses, such as by burning them…

Why not just enforce the map screen, such that the dead player cannot see what is around his body, but only able to look at the map and click on waypoints to respawn.
I think guards should do that automatically.
Maybe as an upgrade: “Build a funeral pyre” that will be ready in 3 minutes

After the extreme indignity of having 20 people splat you, the least you should get to do is spy on them with the off chance of getting to see them come to the same fate.
The main issue seems to be “bodies” inside keeps & towers.
Perhaps Anet could add a couple of extra duties to the keep & tower workers which can be activated at any time:
1) Repair – If they can build, why can they repair? Obviously this should take supply from the location to carry out the repairs.
2) Cleanup – The workers start removing bodies from the location one by one starting with the ones closest to their “workstation” and dumping them outside the gate (animation – worker runs to body, then to gate – body is transported to a position just outside the gate). Of course, you could make it more intersting by adding a loot phase to the cleanup (which would encourage anyone with supply to rez at a WP quickly) where the worker runs to the body and loots any supply carried by the character from the body and takes it back to the supply dump before it dumps the body.
