With nerfed or no rewards, of course.
Basically, you pick part of the story you already did (from the hero panel) and have a choice to repeat it.
Why would anyone do this? Well, I can think of a few examples..

- People who want to edit the GW2 Wiki for parts they’ve already finished.
- People who want to show their friends part of the story they’ve finished.
- People who otherwise want to test something or take screenshots of parts they’ve finished.
- Tybalt <3

The option wouldn’t really hurt anyone, and I doubt it’s hard to implement.

It is? I haven’t played GW1. What were the… “limits” of it? Rewards? Uses?

Pretty much you got a big reward in GW1 for first completing the mission, then you could do it again anytime you wanted to try for the bonus or something else. There was no reward for completing it a second time, minus monster drops, but it was worthwhile to be able to go back to nostalgic parts of the story once more. I agree. I had a crappy computer when I first started and had to play with lowest graphics and still a lot of lag. I would love to replay the personal story on my sylvari just so I can see it again with fresh eyes. That and he was my first and it’s been 1 year since I’ve seen the beginning of that…

I’d love this too, it’d give me something to do plus, then people could (if they wanted) do a lets play on it using their main characters and no having to worry about making a new one

In GW1 there were also Hero’s Handbooks (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Hero's_Handbook) for redoing the story in the Eye of the North expansion. You redid them and if you completed every “chapter” you could turn them in to a historian who would pay you for each completed book (you could only have one on your person at a time, of course). It’d be cool to have something similar to that.

That actually sounds like a nice suggestion. Maybe you can find an NPC at your Order’s headquarters and do the same; at least it’ll give them some meaning besides having access to vendors.
