Dear ArenaNet,

Your philosophy is for us to have fun in this game and even though you strongly oppose farming – as that is something you consider to be not fun – you place in this game the concept of Legendaries that require insane amount of farm to obtain.

Now I have to say that after obtaining my 50th charged lodestone they somehow started to miraculously not drop anymore for 7 days in a row. This lead me to the agreement on that farming isn’t fun. But how to solve this Legendary problem then? We can’t have everyone running around with them, that would defeat the purpose of their status.

My suggestion is: Allow us to purchase 1 lodestone of any type for 250 dungeon tokens from any level 80 explorable dungeon. This allows us to play in a decent variety of dungeons (from memory, CoE expl, Fractals and Arah expl) while still working towards that goal. And don’t tell me that CoE droprate for lodestones is decent because it’s not (5 runs not even a core, let alone a lodestone).

Will this take ages for us to obtain the legendary? Yes.

Is this more fun than killing Sparks 4 hours per day? Definitely.

Looking forward to replies or improvements to this idea. For all I care you up the price to 500 tokens, at least let me have fun while aiming for that legendary!

I’m sorry for the shameless bump, but does no one agree on this or feel that the lodestone concept is ruining the fun aspect of the game and the game design philosophy in general?
