Actually there is no title attached to the map exploration (and exploration only).
I’m not talking about ‘Been There, done that’ title, which is not the same thing.

An ‘Explorer’ title would be great, for roleplayers, linked to the full exploration of Kryta, Maguuma, Orr, Shiverpeaks, and Ascalon.

Because those exploration success already exist, the implemention could be fairly simple

So give not only an achievement, but a title for doing a percentage of the work for an already in place achievement and title?

No, it’s not the same achievement.

You can have ‘Been There, done that’, without having explored all areas.

I didn’t say it was the same. Reiterating: You basically want an achievement and a title for doing part of an achievement and a title that is already in place.

Currently, there is no reward from having all areas completed in the Explorer achievement tab, whereas chasing the last ones is not that easy, for the casual player.

This tab has no other title that Dungeon Master, so I still think they serve differents purposes, as you can have ‘Been There, done that’ with a lot of areas not fully explored.

Don’t add a title for 1 extra hour of work besides “Been there, done that”.

Instead add a title for having done all the achievements in the explorer achievement panel. That’s a title I’ll proudly bear!
