I was just thinking… We all know that the “farm 100 Jorbreakers for a Holographic Wings” is stupid, because you can buy the Wings for much more cheaply on the Trading Post than it would cost to buy 100,000 Zhaitaffies. At the same time, we have a lot of people who are disgruntled that they just can’t seem to get a Jade Weapon ticket no matter how many Coffers/Rich Coffers they open.

So, why not kill two birds with one stone and change/add it so you can trade 100 Jorbreakers for a Jade Weapon ticket? It’s still a tough farming/TP grind to get that many Jorbreakers, but it at least gives players a dedicated path to getting a ticket (and it would help to suck up excess supplies of Zhaitaffies, which will no doubt start to pile up over the next few weeks as people complete their Zhaitasty achievement and there’s no further need for them.

Yes. This is a good idea. Anet has proved admirably that they will correct their mistakes when necessary. 100,000 is FAR too steep.

Why not allow tickets to be tradeable or gifted to other people (but not through teh TP). Ive heard a few people say they have tickets they either dont want or spare ones, im sure if they could give em to a friend who hasnt most of em would.

Guy on my server basically said he’d trash the spare he had since he didnt need it or want it. Kinda sad and a waste when you think about it.

I suspect that the next few patches will add ways to acquire a LOT more Zhaitaffy (and kill huge mobs of holographic minions), so the 100,000 may become more realistic.
