I really loved the temporary dungeons Molten Factory and Aetherblade Retreat. I want the chance to replay them for fun, loot or achievements. I dont like the idea to see them as part of the Fractals of the Mist because they would be reduced mainly to the boss fights. So what about this?

A young and genius Asura learned from the Incident which allowed access to the Fractals of the Mist. In his theory some events of reality or history are imprinted in the mist and you can have access to them, if you can find them and use the Fractal-technology. He dreams of getting access to old technology and knowledge lost in the depths of the mist – and of course the recognition that he is the greatest scientist of all times. At least greater than his teacher Dessa, the discoverer of the Fractals of the Mist. So he thought it would be the best to begin with some events he’s seen with his own eyes and find them in the mist. And he was succsessful in finding MF and AR. He allows heroes to explore these two dungeons, because he hopes to get some important data how to find other older and more precious chunks of reality in the mist.

He’s built a portal in Rata Sum and is searching for willing lab rats – ah sorry I mean heroes to explore the dungeons.
