People are pissed off. They say you have broken a promise of no gear treadmill. People are leaving and threatening to leave. People are sharpening their pitchforks before the update is released. I think to calm people down, you should assure everyone that it isn’t going to make exotics useless. Tell them why Ascended gear was absolutely necessary. It may just save you a bunch of players.
Really , it is 2 days from now or less even. People just need to be able to wait a little longer to check it out.
And yes , im one of the people waiting to see if i will keep playing or it is my time to go search for another game.
