Would it be better if it was GvGvG. (Guilds vs Guilds vs Guilds)

To start off you will need a PVP guild (which would have to be a new creation or not). Solo players can be make a solo guild or just have them randomly placed into a world.

Your guild will be ranked and your guild rank will determine you place in the world maps. This will create great variety and help population. For example,

World 1: Rank 1 Guild, Rank 11 Guild, Rank 22 guild..etc.
World 2: R2G, R12G, R22G etc…etc..
World 3: r3g, r13g, r23g….
World 4: r4g, r14g, r24g…..
World 5: r5g, r15g, r25g…..
World 6: r6g, r16g, r26g
World 7: r7g, r17g, r27g
World 8: r8g, r18g, r28g
World 9: r9g, r19g, r29g
World 10: r10g, r20g, r30g

That’s just an example and I’m sure it can be adjusted or randomized to balance all world with better population and variety of players.

Guilds can be scored independently for guild ranking and bonus reward for world rank.
Your guild captured X keeps , killed X dolyaks, and killed X players and your guild score/rank is XXXX.

You could even give out rewards at the end of the week based on your guild rank and bonus reward on world rank. I know there will be guild hoppers but the guild leaders get decide if they want the hoppers into their guild. Or the rewards can only be given to a player who has spent atleast X amount of time in WvWvW. Or 24 hours after reset is the only time to switch PvP guilds.

I seems like the population would be more balanced. People would fight harder for there guild score. No more dead servers always losing and players feeling like they have absolutely no hope.

this is a very interesting idea. each world would have the top guild based on factors such as towers/camps/keeps captured, players killed, etc. with maybe extra points going towards defense. unfortunately, this would encourage zerg play, meaning zerg guilds would dominate the top positions, meaning small guilds would feel even more hopeless.
that being said, if the score scaled to how many players are in the guild (repping and present of course) when an objective is captured/ defended, then maybe your idea could work.
also, the idea of a pvp guild makes no sense to me, it seems anet wants a guild to be capable of all aspects of the game.

Team Deathmatch for PvP – Raise the AoE cap for WvW – More unique events for PvE
