It’s been done in other games “coughRIFTcough” and it makes being a bigger part of your guild so much easier and in some cases less life consuming. Gotta get to work, will add more later.

There was actually news of an app that was being developed a long time ago that would allow players to connect with friends, and even write stuff on the map for them. It was going to be a kind of “Extended Experience,” that was going to be an interesting aspect of the game. Sadly, we haven’t heard a single bit of news about it, and I don’t think we’ll be hearing about it for a lot longer too. Could be that the idea was scraped. Shame too, since it would have been a fun way of talking to friends in-game, even if you weren’t actually in-game yourself.

Ya, that kinda stuff happens all too often, companies go in over their heads on ideas then end up dumping them due to limitations in time, resources or the software itself. Don’t scrap it, alter it, give us the guild chat, work on the rest later.(hint: game is called guildwars, emphasis on “guild”)
