Hey there… What about changing the character appearance? I think it would be great for all players….
Some of us want to change hair or smth and it’s a bit annoying to have the exact same hair all the time…
And btw it would be great if you add more hair styles! With more imagination on ’em… I am a little dissapointed for not having even one favorite hair style ;/

No, people have suggested it be a gem shop item but AFAIK, ANet hasn’t commented on character customisation yet.

Personally, I’d rather see vendors/NPCs in-game offer such a service for in exchange for in-game currency rather than real money.

Yeah real money would be a trouble for ppl that don’t have the cash to do that (in game and real money)
And if they want to go with gems they can add just exclusive hair styles in the gems shop!

I would really like to see this implemented into the game. I haven’t been playing Guild Wars 2 for long, as I am new to this game, and loving it. but I really feel this game needs to have the option to allow you to edit your appearance, I can’t really see it working just as a cash shop item, but instead give you the choice to find the option in game, and have the choice also available in the cash shop, kind of like a once use item that allows you to open up the character editor. but no matter what, this game could really do with the option to change your characters appearance.

Indeed an option for appearance modifications would be nice!Since I believe that the customizations on the character creation could be many more than they currently are.
Such an option could satisfy the “appearance-hungry” players and could add an interesting reason for gold or gem savings apart from the armors-weapons.
I’m sure GW team will do something about it when enough of us who want it,say so!Keep posting ppl

I’ve seen a post on the another board where someone claimed they found the code for the items already in a previous patch. It has pictures of what they looked like the gem store.

The item to do this was accidentally released in the gem shop for a short while—they caught the bug promptly. When asked, the response was that it is not yet ready, but yes, it is on its way.

Ah, ok. Fair enough.

Bit of a shame it’ll be a gem store item. Hopefully, it won’t be too overpriced.
