I would appreciate it very much if we could apply dyes to our weapons as well as our armor.

You have my vote here, though It might be difficult for them to implement that if the functionality wasn’t built in from the start.

I know, I can only hope that it wouldn’t be too different than how they do it for the armor. I would just like to run in to battle with a blood red blade or a black one. Maybe even something silly if I feel like it that day.

On a side note, it would be cool to customize effect colors as well (such as an elementalist with green fire or some such thing.)

Yes PLEASE! My staff doesn’t match my armour! Just leave an option to un-dye it if needed.

I agree. I’ve often found myself wanting to dye one or more parts of a weapon to better coordinate it with my look.

It is quite strange this was left out when it was in the original, it would be awesome to have this return so we can once again match our weapons to our armor

I’m wondering if there is any intention of it being implemented? I know they don’t like to make promises but as I’m planning my final look, I find there are no weapons at all that are both the colors and the style that I want. I’m still using the Krytan dagger blades on my level 80 rares and there are no exotics that have caught my eye. Weapon dyes would change everything, and open up so many options.
