Or is this just a bottomless black hole for all the suggestions that will never reach the developers’ ears? I think so because I have never seen any ANet employee reply here. It is very disheartening to see because some of these are genuine suggestions that will improve the game.

They only posts I ever recall seeing from CCs are “This will not be supported. Closed.” or “Thanks for your input. Closed.”.

To be honest if I had to bet these are not being read… ArenaNet doesn’t much get into actually listening to what the gamers want and when they do it is a small group over the mojority.

ANet reads the forums all the time. They read the suggestions, they read the other forums, too. They cannot be expected to respond to more than a handful of suggestions at all. There are lots of good ideas, some already being coded or otherwise developed. Some are impractical or go against ANet’s design philosophy.

When the devs give interviews, you can see them mentioning ideas that they’ve adapted from feedback posted here, as well as observing /map chat or discussing things in-game.

(And the CC staff you here are moderators: they aren’t empowered to speak on behalf of the development team.)
