In my opinion armor transmutation system is very bad, it’s way too restrictive.

You are limited to 1 set at a time only and whenever you transmute, one of the items gets destroyed. It’s seriously the worst outfitting system I’ve seen. It does not encourage me at all to buy any costumes or transmutation stones from item shop. And I can already tell you that I will not buy any if the system remains the same. I just feel like it’s a complete waste of money.

In my opinion there should be few cosmetic armor slots (similar to town clothing). Lets say you would get one for free and could buy more in item shop. Then in order to equip something cosmetically you would have to use transmutation stone which would copy item’s appearance in proper slot (the item would not be destroyed).
If you think items should be destroyed though then explain me why. Just don’t say there needs to be sinkhole for equipment as this is invalid argument.

Also I think it should be made possible to transmute head armor pieces without any restrictions (by that I mean transmuting heavy headgear with light / medium ones or cosmetic items from the store). Rest of the pieces however should only be transmuteable with other items of the same category, otherwise it would be somewhat ridiculous.

What exactly do you mean? Right now, like mentioned, I don’t find any encouragement at all to buy gems. I might buy some for bag slots only, but I will never ever spend it on cosmetic items (even though I love outfitting). That’s becasue I find current system terrible and it makesme feel that any investment in it is simple waste of money.

but it actively punishes you for wanting to change the look of your armor. i do 30 runs to get a cool dungeon set, but then in a month or a day or a week i get a new set and i have to destroy the old set to use the new one?

The thing is if you just collected the skins and could transmute them with stones from your collection whenever without destroying the items, i guarantee you they would sell a metric ton more gems/stones. Right now, people often hold back on transmutation because they don’t want to destroy everything or lose a rare skin.

Im not saying I agree with their system btw. I think it sucks tbh. Ive mentioned it in other threads that they would be best using a DUCO styles system but requires the stones to actually save them. That would make people clammer to buy transmute stones much more than the current system does. In my opinon anyways.

I hope they will change existing system some time in the future.
