I feel like there’s an entire portion of the game people are missing by not viewing an entire event chain and knowing the story behind it. I hate to see the best writing in the game go to waste.

I agree, it would be kinda neat for the game to recognize that you contributed during every step of an event chain and reward you with some extra exp, karma and coin. I like to stop and be a part of what’s going on as much as any fan of PvE, but I still find myself getting swept away by an event while on my way to do something else and then going back to my own agenda after just the one part is done.

If you would like to make a suggestion here, I suggest summing up what was previously discussed here. I don’t think many Devs are going to go to an external link and read an entire suggestion thread just to see what your idea is.

How would players know about these escalating rewards? Personally, I’m more than happy with following an NPC to their destination after I’ve completed a quest. Usually, it can take a while to either follow them, or listen to their conversations. Sometimes all of this waiting leads to absolutely nothing and no continuation of the quest. How are we supposed to know if there’s more to be done?

I do like this idea. Maybe a +5% for every other event in the chain you’ve completed karma wise? Makes it so that the harder end events to chains are actually worth more than the ~350 karma, etc.
