I really really think this is a great idea in every way possible. The weapons glow at night, why shouldn’t the armour too?
I love Ascalon, I love the history, but that’s the only reason I wear that armour style. It’s so plain otherwise, so unimpressive.
I mean plain as in look at all the other dungeon armours. They’re either fashionably elaborate and beautiful, or they’re on fire for kittens sake! There’s so much fire on the Citadel of Flames armour and look how popular that dungeon is!
I was so disappointed to learn that the Ascalonian Catacombs armour didn’t glow. And hey, Arenanet, if you didn’t want people to look strange, make it a prerequisite to have the WHOLE SET equipped before you glow at night!
Words can’t describe how epic it would be for cracks to appear in the armour, for ghostly hidden marks to appear, and for the blue mist to start rolling from the adventurer’s form as day turns to night.
Again, so it is with weapons, why the heck not with armour?
(P.S. Yes I spelt armour right, I’m Canadian. )
