So… got my laurels. Been farming away. Happy when I got my first ascended necklace. Went on to my Ring. Got Lunaria, Circle of the Moon Ring. I could not choose which stat I wanted to focus in on, so I figured I might as well be well rounded.

Spent days with my Daily. Got my second ring. So if one Lunaria, Circle of the Moon Ring is good, why not two?

There lies the problem. You cannot have two of the same Ascended rings apparently. In retrospect, I do see now that it says Unique. The definition of unique in context of the game did not dawn on me. That Unique would mean that you cannot equip the same ring at the same time.

Naturally, I had already made it soulbound in the equipping process so I could not even give it to an alt. I am not sure how to resolve this. Obviously my desire is to request a reversal of the transaction. I sent a bug report in, but it is not technically a bug, so I am not sure where to send my request.

At the very least, if someone reads this and does not purchase the same ring, it will be of some benefit to someone.

It’s because they don’t want you equipping two rings with defensive infusion slots (or offensive). The Solaria, Circle of the Sun allows you to wear two rings with the same stats.

Is that a part of the warning that I may not have fully read when I selected OK? Will have to check that.
