We all know that it takes a lot of time to craft ascended set of weapons and gear
So what if someone has full rabid set and wants to go with PVT set?
At this moment it looks like that person has to craft everything again , piece after piece which takes a lot of time and grinding to get everything you need for new set
Finally that person crafts his PVT set but what to do with old set?
He can put it in the bank and kill his space or just sell it for kitten amount of gold

What i would love to see is a tool (some changing stats stone) or something that would let you change stats on ascended weapon or armor same way you can change them on legendary weapons
To not make legendary weapon owners mad Anet could put that (stone) or whatever it would be on TP , so if people want to change stats on their ascended gear they would have to pay some gold and not do it for free like you can do it on legendary weapons

What do you guys think about this idea?

Just make Legendary Armor

23 lvl 80’s, 9 times map, 4ele, 4ncr, 3war, 3grd, 3rgr, 2thf, 2msm, 1eng, 1 rev.
Been There, Done That & Will do it again…except maybe world completion.

Weapon and armor item nomenclature is dictated by the mats that are used to make their inscriptions and insignias. If you want berzerker’s you need to buy/collect Vials of Powerful Blood; if you want to craft valkyrie then you need Vicious Fangs.

I think an item like you’re suggesting could be potentially disruptive to the economy regarding T6 mats. At this moment, Elaborate Totems sell for 19 silver while Vicious Fangs cost 39. In a free market economy these prices are dictated by the supply and demand. An item that would enable someone to craft cleric’s and get valkyrie instead would throw the price balance in the T6 ranges out of proportion in relation to the availability of the items which could have costly after effects in crafting from exotic to ascended as well as impacting the crafting of legendaries.

The only way to counter that would be to price this stat changing stone far above the prices of current transmutation stones so that it would be an item of convience to the user but not so that it could exploit the market. At that point the stat stone may be so expensive that it would be cheaper to just recraft your armor or weapons yourself. The implementation could be very tricky to balance and probably wouldn’t work out for most.
