I consider myself a PvX player but i am not the type that likes farming (thats why i started playing GW2) and i really dont like the fact that there is a hudge hole in the game you made by the ascended armors. The idea that there is exotic armor (easily avilable) which can be obtained even by the most unexperienced players is so genius and made GW2 revolutionary.

Ascended: Crafting

Exotic : from badges of honor, drop, dungeon tokens (now useless), crafting, mystic forge

I BEG you, make more ways of obtaining it because WvW players just dont have time and will to loose time with crafting. I am sure that many only WvW players will quit the game because of the farming PvE guys being stronger.

My ideas:

1.Make ascended items not better than exotic in just WvW
2.Make some kind of WvW reward for ascended gear (tokens or something)
3.Make it laurel reward

I would be very pleased if you notice and think about my comment.

You can get ascended gear from drops in FotM. Crafting isn’t your only option.

I think that WvW should use PvP template just like mini games.

It prevents very very many unnatural situations.
Hopefully one day when they integrate PvP with the rest of the game they will do it.

I wouldn’t mind a 2k-3k badge of honor requirement for 1 ascended weapon/armor chest reward.

Either way, I used to consider going for 500 armorsmith to get ascended armor for my guardian, but at the rate it’s costing, I’m no longer willing to invest in it. I’m simply going to wait to get them from a chest, because it requires absurd amounts of gold.

The difference in stats is literally 1 point per stat per piece. It’s not game breaking and no one that doesn’t want to go after it will be held back by sticking with exotics. Plus, as a full time WvW player I disagree with the notion that you have to do PvE to acquire ascended armor. I am wearing full ascended as of tomorrow’s timer reset for crafted ascended mats and I rarely, if ever, set foot outside of WvW. Crafting to 500 takes less than an hour with a good guide and a booster, and if you salvage all your loot (and bank it instead of selling it) you shouldn’t even have to spend more than a few gold to do it.

ascended armor crafting …. too much for wwwers.. drops should scale with wxp levels like in fractals, they scale with fractal levels.. else its VERY difficult to get full set ascended at the price and crafting that is needed .. crafting should not be forced onto us. tx
