Hi all,

I just spend 10 pristine relics on a ring that is the same that I have on one hand. I can not wear both of the same rings at the same time. (Bagh Nakh) I can wear one Bagh Nakh with another ring that I have (Snaff’s Gyre).

I do not see nor understand why I can’t wear 2 of the same rings since those states on the rings are available with another name (Vine of the pale tree). Is it not possible because they have the same name? (bug) or am I missing some info regarding rings that the npc’s are not informing us about? Really sucks after doing 10 x Daily 10.

Any idea Anet?

I believe the rings are classified as ‘unique’ which means only one of each type can be equipped at any given time.

A little confusing if you don’t know this in advance, but it is working as intended.

As a side note, I believe you can infuse one of them and then wear them both. So it’s not a total loss for you… just don’t infuse the second one!

Yes, I hear if you infuse one ring that the name will change and this will allow you to wear both as the rings now have different names (one will say infused).

If you infuse both, you will again no longer be able to wear both.

Thank you for explaining something Anet should make more clear inside of GW2.

Nobody in the game (NPC) is explaining the rings, agony or how and why you need to get that above level 10. Maybe a little info from an NPC could be the solution for many people spending 10 pristine relics ( 10 × 10 Daily = 10+ hours) and not being able to use it since they got two of a kind.

The same thing hapened to me, just thinking of quiting this game , i can’t stand con like this.
