Just a quick idea, is there a possibility that the Ancient Karka Shell can be upgraded to ascended quality like the Triforge Pendent?

Without this there will come a day when I will have to un-equip it, and it’s important that we remember that traumatic day every time we look at our hero tab.

I aggree, thoguh id dont get my hopes too high since there is an ascended accessory called “Ancient Karka Carapace” you can buy alongside the rest of them, though it is with toughness/healing/cond.dmg

Agreed. Named items should all have upgrade recipes.

I ran a search to see if it was possible already and this is the first result. Here is to hoping, celestial stat items are so uncommon, and it would be a shame to lose a Unique Event Item to ascended gear progression. For people who didn’t get it in the Ancient Karka Chest, getting 1000 karka shells together was no mean feat either, not quite on par with the triforge, but karka shells are not the easiest crafting material to come by either.

I 100% Agree with this. Farming all those karka shells and obtaining it for alt. characters was really difficult. Please. Make a recipe to Upgrade this one to ascended with a defensive slot. Thank You.

Is it possible to first create an ascended backpiece, and then transmute just the skin of the Ancient Karka Shell on top of it?

I’m all for this too, if it’s at all possible. It’s difficult to farm all those karka shells, and expensive to buy them. Considering it’s an item right up there with the Triforge Pendant, I think there should be a way to ascend the Ancient Karka Shell as well.
