I find the Power Suit elite for Asura to be a disappointing skill, golems are one of the corner stones of being an Asura and yet this elite skills feel like an afterthought. The pity is it has so much potential to be amongst the coolest elite skills in the game and yet for whatever reason (balancing issues I suppose) it is an elite that you equip once, see what it is, then never use again.
This is what I think is wrong with it from a skill mechanics perspective:
1) The recharge in-between skills are completely unnecessary and irritating, why make every skill go into a 3sec cool down for activating 1 skill?
2) It lasts 60secs ( this skill should not be time based, rather make it last as long as the player can keep it from being destroyed and remove the option to heal the suit, then once its destroyed skill goes into a 3-5min cooldown)
3) Jump, how did you not think to add this?
4) Remove the option for other races to use this suit, it should be Asura exclusive, besides how would Norn and Charr even fit in one? The whole reason Asura have them is because they are small and have used their intelligence to equal other races where they are lacking.
5) Lastly I would preferably have a complete re-work of the skill bar but this is obviously subject to the above being considered first.
This is what I think is wrong with it from a visual perspective:
1) It doesn’t really feel mechanical enough, the way it moves, it all feels like inadequate, I want it to feel like what Clagg was described riding on in the opening scenes of Ghosts of Ascalon and not this excuse for an elite.
C’mon Anet you sold me on Asuran golems through development with your awesome concept art, I know the current elite/s are not the realisation of those artworks.
