Lot of personnal storylines take place around Fort Trinity in the strait of Devastation. Add an asura gate from Fort Marriner will be an improvement for the players.

Yah, they have one from Divinities Reach to Ebonhawke in the Field of Ruin. Another long portal from a major city to somewhere in Orr would be nice.

It would however not make much sense. While both the Gates in the Order HQs and the gate from Queensdale to Ebonhawke does.

Funnily enough when I power levelled my ranger to 80, it was on it’s final quest to complete initiation into the Order of Whispers, I advanced through the zones with the aim of getting into the Cursed Shore and the pointer actually pointed me to continue the quest by going through the Asura gate at Fort Trinity to Lions Arch and then head out south to Bloodtide Coast.

I think they coded one of the portals to take you to Lions Arch’s, maybe one day with something they got planned it’ll be active… so many gates everywhere that is blocked off, like the ones in chosen sided factions in the personal story… wonder where they lead to… and the ones in Rata Sum….

The portal from Divinity’s Reach to Ebonhawk is for lore reasons. They are both human cities and are connected to lend aid. The portals from Lion’s Arch to the other cities are in place to ensure trade between the free city and the five other cultures. The portals in Fort Trinity are to the three orders because the Pact is made up of the three orders. Therefore the logical connection point is the headquarters of those orders, not a free trade city.

Your convenience is not necessary, the assumptiuon is that you have waypoints down there, spend a couple silver and port over if it’s so important that you get there quickly.

Yeah Vigil HQ is in Gandarran and Priory is right next to the furthest east waypoint in LA. You can use any Order’s Trinity gate, they know who the high rollas are haha
