It would be a totally awesome idea if for April 1st you made it to where when everyone logs in after a “maintenance reset” all of our characters had trololo faces!

They should interest a new profession aimed specifically at people who used to play WoW and then take it away from them. Or perhaps create patch notes saying they’re adding the holy trinity to the game. Or a taunt mechanic. lol
They should change everyone’s race to be of the “lesser races” like quaggan, hyleck, ogre, skritt, grawl, etc. And then they can have their own racial abilities added.
Hmm… Random forms would be funny if its not ruining the mayor gameplay.
If we get special (BALANCED) skills, the whole day will become a super GW1 style costume brawl! Imagine WWW with these. Amazing Fun!!

April fools joke: When they log on for the first time in april 1, all their chars become quaggans in char select screen. but when the log-on, its still their same char. :p

Nah, this would be way too nice for an April Fool’s hoax. I’d rather have this:
Everybody gets a loot drop containing a (random) precursor. But when you pick it up, you only get this “you are encumbered” window pop-up (although you are not), and whatever you do, you will not get it into your inventory.
Although, on the other hand, considering the temper of an average player, this might lead to 55% percent of a server population ragequitting the game .. :-/

I would laugh so hard if you announced that you were going to start introducing mounts, flying mounts and mounts with speed boosts on April 1st. It would be so cruel. And so funny.
I wouldn’t mind seeing us all turn into the Commando or Minstrel from the announcements page back in the day when they were announcing the real classes and put those there as April Fool’s Day jokes.

Switch the weapons, heals, utilities and elite of one class for the weapons etc of another. It would be a day to remember when almost all the postings on GW2LFG are:
“COF P1 LF4M ZERG$$$$$ have a ranger but still need 4 necros; warriors and mesmers need not apply.
Even if it were for only one day it would be quite the sight for these old eyes.

Here, I got one; all chat filters, on the forums and in the game, force the player to speak like Quaggans for a day. (Ex; Extra O’s whenever an O is typed, and typing your own name instead causes you to say “quaggan”; curse words filtered to say “ooOOoo” instead.)
