Really, ANet?

I realize that as a RPer, I’m an utter minority. But what about adding more town clothes options that actually fit the setting and are not intended to make a character look like a kitten kitten?

Right now all characters of a given race and gender only have the one basic set of town clothes. Dyes aside. it looks very dull to sit in a group of -say- Norn in town clothes. I’ve been looking forward to decent alternatives. But all we get is kitten.

Why even bother to make a fantasy game set in a largely quasi-medieval world only to introduce items aimed at breaking immersion? Also see: Norn, Human, Asura dances.

(Okay, I can kind of see the aviator stuff for the rare Charr or Asura but kitten bunny ears? Devil horns in a world that lacks a Christian faith and hence our earthly concept of the devil? Never mind the freebie baseball hat handed out during launch or the kitten cook look.)

Well, they do have bunnies in Tyria, and they do make costumes for lets say halloween, so why are bunny ears so unbleieveable?

Aviator cap, why not? Airhsips exist, and everyone know that when manning an airship one cannot go without an appropriate cap ^^

To be dully pedantic, Satan was introduced in the Old Testament, perhaps an influence from Zoroastrianism.

Buddhism and Hinduism have the concept of “demon”, and both Chinese and Japanese folk beliefs refer to malicious supernatural creatures.

In short, you don’t have to be a Christian to believe in the devil.

Someone clearly never saw GW1 dances. Unless a Seinfeld reference isn’t immersion breaking?

ANet should make a Mystic recipe or anything to make a Bunny Ears + Sunglasses combo.
