I’m new to the game, and completed my first fractal with my guild last night. It was a great experience with fun and challenging content.

However, I’m level 29 and was scaled to 80. While this allowed me to participate in the event, I was not awarded with any experience for it. Spending over an hour doing this fractal was fun, but it did not advance my character in any way, making me not want to repeat the process until I reach level 80….

If a fractal is made up of 3 dungeons, why not award an Event style XP allotment after each dungeon is completed, similar to Dynamic Events.

This would provide a viable incentive for non-80 players to take part in fractcals

Actually Fractals of the mist is a level 80 dungeon. Or at least you get the letter with information of that dungeon once you reach level 80….

As Green said, FotM is meant to be end game content, not lvl 29 content. Try to explore the world, learn your character and then challenge FotM again.

If fractals of the mists are meant to be level 80 content, why did they bother to include the auto-scaling up? Other level 80 only content does not auto-scale you. If they didn’t intend non-level 80’s to do fractals, why give you this ability?

Even at80 XP is useful. I use it to collect skill points for the forge recipes. I heard you don’t get any influence points for running them either, anyone know if that is true?
