Guild Wars 2

This is a tiny problem that I think could easily be improved tremendously with a simple tweak.
Whenever you get something new in your pickup, be it from an order or an item you sell. Then the little icon gets a red circle with an exclamation part. That’s all fine and dandy. But from this point on, you won’t know if you get something new unless you actually go and pick it up or check on it regularly.

Which brings me to my suggestion. Introducing a third icon. I made a picture of my suggestion and I find it easier to understand than me explaining it further.

Yes, this is exactly what I want the icon to show. I don’t want to pick up 1c from the TP just to make sure I know when I’ve sold something valuable.

I really like this idea, I keep constantly checking the BLTC icon just because it has a red ball with that exclamation mark in it. Then am disappointed every time there isn’t anything new to pick up, just the 50s that been sitting there for a couple of days. (Because who would bother to pick up so trivial sum anyways?)

Nice and elegant.
I’d also like it that if you clicked on the Lion head while the red exclamation was there, it’d take you straight to your list of pickups rather than the gem store front page.

Still think it’s a simple but well needed feature that would benefit many.
