Currently Blocking only affect whisper between Player A with Player B.

I would like “Blocking” To include all blocks vias -

-map chat
-say chat
-guild chat
-team chat
-squad chat
-party chat

Also blocked players shouldn’t be able to join your own party.

Would be nice if people on your blocked list were unable to interact with you in anyway.

Blocking blocks map chat already.

I agree that it should block all of these from being seen by either player. If you block some one that means you don’t want to have any communications between you and them… not just hey… they can’t whisper…

This is something that really needs to be addressed. Blocking in it’s current form is pretty useless. We have a resident wvw spy on our server that just sits at our wp and feeds intel to the servers were up against and trolls map and team chat. A true block across all chat channels would help alleviate this.

Completely agree with this! I’d also like the option to appear invisible and still be able to receive whispers.

Blocking should also mute any sounds from instruments the blocked player is playing.

Here another incident on blocking.

I have blocked several people in the past hour and they know i blocked them. Now they keep trying to invite me in their party. It is getting ridiculous really , please anet STOP THEM PLEASE. I BLOCKED THEM CUZ I HATED THEM .

I especially dislike having to leave/not rep a guild because one or two people drive me absolutely bonkers in guild chat. Please address this ANet
