I have always wondered why there is no access to general storage/bank in The Heart of the Mists. When you get given rewards such as bags, dyes, salvage kits (5 from monthly I now have on a random character) and tournament tokens which are account bound. It gets quite tedious having to leave the mists to travel to another town to go use the bank in order to store these items.

So quite simply I suggest adding bank access in the mists.

I think because it is monetized. We don’t pay monthly subscription for the game but you can buy personal bank access anytime from gem store for real money so this could be a way to give players idea to spend a bit more money. If this is true reason – I am OK with that.

I don`t think that`s the point, and I agree with Loopy, leave the mists just for 5 min to put stuff to bank is stupid and annoying. I guess it`s just something the devs missed

I understand what you’re saying but I personally think that item is more to be used in PvE, where you might be carrying to much while doing a dungeon/exploring ect, and need to store some items in order to hold more.

What I’m suggesting is just purely for convenience, I know I can simply take the portal from the mists back to lions arch then use the bank there free of charge. Its just to save me the few minutes of doing that then swapping characters and doing it all over again.

I would LOVE this to be implemented, but I suspect the reason it isn’t is, like Incubus says, because of the bank access item in the gem store.

I realise you want this to actually use the bank and then stay in the mists, but absolutely everyone else is going to hop into the Mists, run to the bank, then click leave to return to their previous map and carry on farming. That’s exactly what I would use it for (and it would be great).

It would totally remove the need for me to ever really use the instant bank access or the summon merchant (store stuff in the bank, get gathering tools I left in the bank out) items from the gem store.

The mists need bank access. Yes, please.
