I am 1 of the people who have been hacked and my charactors gold has gone yet they did not touch my bank weird… but anyways i think a good idea would be to have a bank password which has to be different than your login password. This way i would always store my gold in my bank before i log out and then hopefully it would be safe if i was unlucky enough to get hacked again.

That’s… why would you need a password to protect yourself from yourself? Ideally you’re the only person who ever has access to your bank. I’m sorry to hear you got hacked, but this suggestion makes very little sense. In stead of thinking of ways to protect your stuff if you do get hacked, try and prevent that from happenning in the first place by sweeping your system for malware, using a strong password, making sure only you know that password, etc. etc.

What PopeUrban said. If you got keylogged, then they’d simply have the password to the bank, as you did. So you’d just be creating an extra step for yourself and not protecting yourself.

Well if the hackers gained access to accounts they CAN go to your bank and empty it i was lucky that they didnt do this to me. so if it had a seperate password for banks this would make peoples items/gold alot more safer. I know many games that have bank passwords

To Fiennes bank passwords are usually clicked with a 4 digit pin not typed

Honestly it sounds like an annoying hassle, but hey, as long as its an annoying hassle i can turn off, sure.

While we’re at it lets add a trash item password, a vendor password, a salvage password, a waypoint password, and a password for the 3s it costs to respec. Then you’ll be SUPER secure.

No thanks. Sorry you got hacked, but adding a password within the game isn’t going to magically keep you from being hacked. It will only provide a nuisance that 2 million players shouldnt be dealing with. Strengthen your account password, chalk this one up as a learning experience, and mostly take responsibility for keeping your account secure.
