I would actually agree to this. It would definitely give a better view of the weapons you’re previewing.
Would much rather have a separate weapon preview without character than have a non-zoomable non-panable preview that you can’t see details on like we have now.
I was just about to post this suggestion myself. Not only would it solve the problem of seeing small things on your hip and having big things clipping into your back, it would also show the animations and effects.
