Guild: The Eternal Blades Of The North[EBoN]
Server: Northern Shiverpeaks

Today I found out that when you block someone they still see you as online, they can see where you are and also on which character. This to me defeats the purpose of blocking them. When I block them I don’t what them to know these things.
So my suggestion is, let us be shown as offline to people we block.

+1
To be honest, never had this issue in GW2, but I did in another game I’ll not mention. It was quite annoying as that blocked/ignored person continued to follow me around and kill-steal to the point I just logged off :/ Since the same can apparently occur here, I’d be in full support of such a change.
Edit: Of course they can’t “kill-steal” in the traditional sense and they can’t really do too much to annoy you in this game, but the principle still stands. When someone is ignored/blocked, they should not be able to find you.

Killstealing can’t happen in this game however, but yes it can still be annoying to be relentlessly stalked by some idiot with far too much time on their hands.
The only alternative at the moment is to switch servers as AFAIK, the friends/blocked list does not list which servers people are on.
I agree: block should make you invisible to the other player.
no let them see your online if there blocked they cant bother you if they do report them for harassment and let a gm take care of them

In some instances you might know the person in real life or on forums or else where. Then they can actually confront you with “ignoring”. This can be quite unpleasant.
