It’s a small change but can help prevent a small frustration when repeatedly using the trading post.

When ever the “Black Lion Trading Company” is opened, the previously used window should remain open instead of defaulting back to the Gem Store Screen. The amount of extra time needed, when opening the “Black Lion Trading Company” window, for it to go to the Gem Store screen and then having to go back to the screen it was just at, tends to be a little too tedious and frustrating.

Now I know this most likely is a design decision in order to encourage users to purchase things from the gem store and in extension, purchase gems using IRL cash. But it does seem like it is forcing the suggestion down the users throat when it is switched EVERY time the window is opened. That is why I suggest to make it so that the “Black Lion Trading Company” window defaults to the Gem Store screen only when first opening the “Black Lion Trading Company” window on log-in.

So to clarify, said user logs in, presses “O” and the Gem Store opens up, they switch to the “Trading Post” screen, put in some buy orders, close the window, run to the crafting area, realise they need some things, press “O” and the Trading Post" screen they were at previously opens up.

Yes, but then you aren’t forced to look at the front page of the gem store repeatedly, thereby burning the image of being in the gem store into your consciousness, thereby making you ever so slightly more likely to consider buying things.
