As the subject indicates:

I am leveling up my main (an engineer). If I go to the trading post to look for a new armor set I see two pages of “Armor cannot be appied to your profession” or something to the like.

I would like in the additional filtering options to say I am looking for a helm, level 75-79, exotic, for an engineer.

So you’re asking for a armor type filter, like to filter heavy, medium or light? That’s what I want. (:

That would work. More than anything I want to eliminate the items in the list my character can’t wear or equip anyhow. No point in even displaying them.

yes that would be awesome a search result of like 100 items 90% you can’t even wear…

I’d like to see this on every vendor panel, too: the crafting stations have a check box to filter out recipes when we cannot use the product; the hero panel automatically filters out stuff we cannot use. So I don’t see a practical reason why it can’t be programmed into other interfaces.

It’s been asked a few time now. I cannot fathom why it has still not been done.

That would help those who are confused.

However, you can filter it by adding a portion of the specific armor/weapon name if you know what you are searching for.
