Can the GM’s please do the following.

1. Get rid of the Bots, I have seen a large number of players botting in game and reported them for being a bot but keep seeing them they usually camp world events.

2. Get rid of the gold sellers/spammers in game.

3. Get rid of the cheaters using Teleport/Warp/Lag hacks as shown below. Aion had similar hacks for the game, and was a reason I quit playing people have the ability to memory edit/hack a game to this potential it destroys the game.

I know there are changes that can be done server side to at least detect hacks like flying, and teleport hacks such as the bots teleporting to resources.

MeanWhile the game gets a bad reputation on sites like MMORPG.com, and such, removing the post either isn’t a solution to the problem banning these botters and getting rid of cheaters is the solution. I did not post the videos or such I just found them on google, and on the MMORPG.com forums and decided to attempt to post here and see if the GM’s or people in charge of this game will do something about the Bots before the game gets a lot worse of a rep. You see you can remove the post from here if it is violation of the rules, but I can go start thousands of other topics on other gaming sites discussing how bad the game is with hackers until that is all you will find on the search engines, so it won’t do any good because word will get out.

Personally I don’t like NcSoft as a company because of how they let my Lineage 2 account I had for years get compromised when it went F2P they had no security/secondary password it got ripped off they did nothign to fix it. The only reason I bought GW2 is because other people other than NCsoft from what I know made it so I wanted to give it a chance, but it is looking just as bad.

Please fix this game before its too late, and I uninstall the game myself.

WvW is often ruined because cheaters immediately take all three Orbs of Power for their server, thus resulting in a horrible snowball effect. It is basically impossible for the other two servers to compete against enemies with +15% maximum health and +150 to all stats.

they are working to get rid of these but the truth is they will always exist just look on other games and even gw1 its still goldsellers there. there only way to eliminate them is to shut down the game.

On Kaineng we can not even get some of the hearts done cause of these people that are manipulating the game. There are usually anywhere from 20-30 hackers in our WvW as well. As have said in other posts, my enjoyment of the game is going downhill fast with the sheer number of these hackers. Live players should be able to do something to help eliminate these hacker rather than just report them. Why not a trip command that can put them infront of a dragon or another mob that could kill these hackers. I have seen the same three hackers running the same route fer the past three days in Mount Maelstrom and they are obvious too. All end the name the sameway. How are these hackers getting all of these accounts? How about adding in a security code we have to manually enter each we log in to eliminate these hackers?

You are confusing “hacking” with “botting”.

Also, as for a way for players to take action against hackers/botters other than reporting, there is no guarantee it won’t be abused to all hell.

As for a security code, if you mean like the Blizzard Authenticator system, I believe Anet has one in beta that people are already using via smartphone/iphone/android. I think you can do it via email too, but depending how safe your email is compared to your phone, I’m not sure doing it through email would be any help.
