Bounties should be invisible until triggered
My guild had upwards of 40-50 players for a T3 mission the other night and it was still a challenge. I dont think you understand just how hard it is to co-ordinate a multiple party, multiple map search of a specific NPC, even when finding the targets beforehand. Sometimes the target was killed by another guild, sometimes one group couldnt find the mob, sometimes we was all on different maps, sometimes the groups sent couldnt kill the NPC, sometimes certain guild members needed a hit to get credit so had to swap maps and find the NPC with the help of others….
Sure its ‘easier’ with a larger guild but to say its easy is wrong. The level of organising, even when using TS, is pretty epic.

Regardless of how exhausting it is, the organization is not remotely difficult. It’s just AFKing by a mob until everyone is ready.
Its clear to me that youve never participated in a guild bounty mission with a large guild.

Actually, what inspired me to make this thread was the tier 3 bounty I did right before posting it, but that doesn’t have anything to do with my argument. Your post is an ad hominem.
The exhaustive organization required is only “challenging” at a meta level. It’s not actually difficult within the framework of the game itself. In other words, the gameplay isn’t challenging; the only challenge is getting enough people to follow the NPCs before starting and getting everyone else in position to tag the mobs for credit. That’s not the exciting hunt ArenaNet seemed to be going for when describing these missions.

I’m waiting for the outcry when a guild gets the bounty in Sparkfly Fen, and gets shunted to overflow because Teq happens to be up. ^^
A few people in my guild missed credit because of overflow on Sparkfly Fen. We also got the bounty in Blazeridge Steppes, so that could have been locked out if Shatterer was going on as well.
