How its done!
Can you place a bounty on the one that killed you [A window pops up with everyone that atleast did 10% damage to you, the list can only hold the top 10 players who damaged you], basicly when someone kills you, you have the option to placing a bounty on that target, that bounty eventually piles up and is added to a list.
Eventually he becomes worth a lot of money, after you get atleast 50 silver on a target, he is not only worth gold, but also a Laurel. He must be worth at least 2 gold and 50 silver to also be worth a Laurel.
Unfortunately if your target leaves WvWvW before you get to him, the mission greys out and your unable to do it. There is also a safe zone as well.
You also get bounties for doing things like taking camps/other things, not just players, every time you take a camp you get 15 silver placed on your character, each time you kill a guard, 5 silver. Each time you take a keep depending on how much it is, 30-1 gold.
How to catch your Prey!
You will get a magic bird that costs 10 silver and 1-3 badges each, each one will travel to your target and tell you there current location for 30 seconds. However it takes about 1-3 minutes for the bird to find your target, and then you have to go near where he is and find him on food.
These birds can also “Reveal” the target for a short duration after using it to follow your prey. However it does not destealth the player, it simply goes by where he is generally.

Other Stuff!
You can only take bounties from other servers your fighting, when the week is done, the bounties do not reset but go to the next fight so the other servers have a chance to take the bounties.
What happens when ya kill your target?
Once the bounty is done and you kill your target (You must have atleast dealt 10% damage to him.) a mail will be sent to the ones who placed the bounty on the target, telling you exactly who killed him. You will be rewarded all the gold, plus a laurel and another 20% bonus gold.
Titles!
You can get titles for doing a number of bounties. =>
You can also get titles for having the most gold on you!
Examples:
“Most Wanted.”
“Tracker.”
What happens if two people attack the same target?
The first person to either down, do more damage, or death blow him gets all the credit, sorry but them is the breaks!

sounds like fun but who gets the bounty when a zerg finds him?
i can see how this can already be exploited for laurels lol, quite a few people have multiple accounts and could build bounty on a character they own then kill him on the other

If you don’t do at least 10% of the damage, you get no credit. Them is the breaks!
As long as the reward is gold (or karma) only then I’m for it. No laurels. No bonus gold either otherwise people will farm it. Yes this system can and will be abused.
Abusing the system is kind of the point, however the problem is there is so many factors, it probably won’t be worth abusing. Farming your own account? What if someone comes along and kills you and take all your money you were trying to farm?
You have to have a bit extra, because it needs to be worth the time spent walking/killing your target.
Adding Laurels to it would give it even more of a prize, however there should and can be a limit to how many you can get per day, probably one.
However, you have to realize thakittens not really easy to kill someone, especially if they know they have a high price on there head, because they will get titles/rewards as well just by surviving.

Um, doing CoF path 1 over and over for a gold for each team member every 10 minutes is more inflating then one guy killing a bounty every hour or two (or even three, depending on how hard he is to catch.) to kill one guy would add more economy?
Its mostly luck, and I could get more money just farming regular.
And Bountys are gonna probably be like 5 gold max, that is 1 gold 25 silver put into the economy every hour (depending on anyone willing to place that much money on someone.)
Its actually very fair.
Nobody would risk farming there own toon because then someone else can come alone and kill it and take all the money you tried to farm. However I can see your point in people doing it to sort of “dupe” money, however that is why there should be a cap of 15 gold per player.
Also some kind of Immunity to being hunted after you are slain could be added as well per account or player. (3 hour immunity.)
However, can you give me feedback on the idea itself instead of how it can be abused?
