Chestrunning mechanics:
1. Make 4-5 chests spawn in newly designed instance (think more like a dungeon, a puzzle)
2. New set of skills focused on running/surviving
3. Sell keys at a fixed silver cost OR at a sertain amount of mats/key (ex. 300Hardened leather for a key)
4. You can run this dungeon 1/day OR 1/day/character

Advantages:
1. Gold sink, ex. A key costs 50silver, average return on key is ~25silver (T5-6 mats, greens, bleus, gold, exo, .. )
2. Introduce a new skins, only obtainable by chestrunnning and make them as rare as a precursor (I’m a big fan BO-staff or Dragon-staff like those in GW1 wink wink)

I know there are already basic chests in the game, but tbh these are not worth the time running.

What are your thoughts/suggestions?

I don’t see the point to this. Zergs are chest runs, just with forced fighting.

I never liked the chest runs in GW1 either, I’d get better things off trash mobs by just playing. I got my gold, max (at the time) eternal shield that way and my max (at the time) gold flamberge (the massive dark style). I still have both of those come to think of it.

I do agree they need a real gold sink, but I think an in game hairstylist or cough town clothes would be a better place to start. What I mean by ‘real’ is that you get nothing back for what you buy with the gold. 50% back makes little sense.
