Increase the likelihood of getting rarer items from throwing 4 armor/weapons in. It would help the game’s economy. Currently greens are worthless, you may as well vendor them. If people thought they stood a good chance of making a profit off of them they would buy them in mass and clean up the TP and raise their prices slightly.
How would that help the economy?
Do you mean to say: “Then I could sell my greens to gambling suckers and make more money.”
“The economy” is not synonymous with “my personal bank account,” folks. Learn to play the trading post that is there, not the economy you wish was there.
It would remove all the greens flooding the trading post. Everything being worthless does not make a good economy. Anet knows this, that’s why they made mystic chests.
