Buff World Bosses
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! The world bosses are so underwhelming. Except for the one in Metrica Provence.
World bosses should feel like a culmination and not just a gimme for a giant group of people.
Note to devs: Making a boss harder doesn’t mean giving it a one hit KO AOE bomb of doom.
Have you fought the Fire elemental in the Asura starter zone? Because it doesn’t sound like you have.
I agree, most world bosses are laughable, especially the dragon champions.

And this is the only non-easy world boss. For example, people fighting Tequatl the sunless are just ignoring turrets and Mega Laser. They come in melee to the dragon and are happy.
Anet, give Tequatl (and the other bosses that can be fought using environment turrets) 90% resistance to normal players dmg. They use turrets and win in 20min or ignore them and win in 60min.

All world bosses should be like the fire elemental in Province Metrica.
Occam Pi (Ele), Acaena Elongata (Warrior), Finja Salversdotir (Ranger),

Definitely agree with harder world bosses. The fire elemental is the only one I’ve enjoyed doing. Possible enhancement is to add veteran mob spawns per number of players in the area.
I disagree 100% with this. The bosses are fine the way they are. Please keep them that way to allow players leveling up the same opportunity as those that rushed to end game.
I mean, some npc’s are harder to defeat. There was a robot (don’t remember the name) in Mount Maeltrom area that was just laughable. Everyone stood in AOE, in his fire area and no one even died. I took earth attunement and it my health wasn’t moving, no matter what I did. Then I realized it’s easy fight and got back to fire, needing to press healing ability here and there.
Later on, there was a dynamic event not far away from that place and mobs literally one / two shotted me in the water.
World bosses should be a challenge that would prepare any player for dungeons. Because players come in dungeons and they can’t recover from shocking experience.

Well, the argument from the first guy is free of sense!
The second one things that it’s ok if 95% of PvE is a no-brainer (zerg fest) and the only answer is dungeons, explorable mode, really?
It’s not about being akittenhard challenge, there are a lot of difficulty/challenge levels from no-brainer tokittenhard… And somewhere between those difficulty levels should be most of the events are positioned. But currently almost every event is a no-brainer.
And I’m not talking about world event bosses, I mean events in general!
I stood 15 minutes at the foot of The Shatterer without moving, dodging, just spamming my DMG skills 1 and 2… What do you think how much damage I took? Well, exactly zero, null, 0!! And that was just one single example… And you say that is fine? You can’t be serious!

I actually expected them to be some sort of raids and need of at least one guild (40 ppl?) to be in a group and really organize what is going on, have tactics. Rest of the ppl would just tag along and fill the gaps. But kill Claw with some random 20 ppl who are doing nothing is just useless.

errr well i have not tried out any dungeons yet but i heard the dying rate is extremely high.
for me, easy means no dying.

well, you taking no damage means you know how to play the game.
did you overlook the many other players that were down or defeated during the dragon fight etc?

errr no. the random 20 ppl are not doing nothing. all of them are attacking the dragon.
the world event bosses are working as intended.
in all dragon battles that i participated, i always see got many other players got downed or defeated etc though i am not one of them.
just because the game is easier for you does not mean is easier for others.
+1 world bosses MUST be harder (to have have smarter mechanics not to do more damage), they deserve to be on a legendary scale.
PS. And yes those who downed the Fire Elemental deserve an achievement and a title. (No, not me yet.)
