*1). Suggestion: Bush *

Very awesome and natural would be that we would have added bush hide system:

Which would let us hide for current amount of time, one class could hide longer than other: example rangers thief and engineer groups would been able to hide longer.
Benefits of bush:

  • While in bush you have bonus of attack from hidden(stealth) position, to do Open strike ( 100% chance to hit critical +25% of dmg with first skill/attack they use)
  • while in bush you are becoming vulnerable and unseen to other units, but you receive +15% of normal dmg if players hit you with AoE dmg while you wait hidden in bush.
  • players can move inside of bush as long they stay inside of bush area.
  • Player loses hidden effect if he runs out of time or step out of it before time out.
  • Sound cosmetic: Players would make bush moving sound if they move in bush.

2). Suggestion Combos:
I liked A LOT the combo system… there fore i would suggest to bring bigger combo field radius, and bigger benefit of dmg while doing the combo – finished combination. Because at the moment people feel like.. ‘’ kitten this is not worth to do, lets rather not try this, because there is no high difference of dmg’‘. Well this would be a waste if we wouldn’t get proper system of making combos count something ! Bring back combo daily, it was nice just needs bit tweaking.

3). Suggestion Ranger solo style:
If we are playing ‘’The best game on the world’’ lets face the option, that we don’t have enough freedom at making our play style unique. For example ranger pet. I would suggest more like original ranger style, just like necromancer has option to play without minions.
Rangers would get less pet dependent for those who like to play without pets and different styles ( i like pets myself, but would like to see ranger being more customizable and creative as this class should be).

Removing pet would give you other benefits:

  • while not with pet ranger would get new trait but u can pick only one of them for exchange of pet tree:
    * Marksmenship (base dmg options)
    * Trapping ( trap combo option unlock)
    * Sign of Hunt (more options to combat as solo traveler with conditions)

1) Picking: Marksmanship

  • More dmg with TRUE LONG BOW… at the moment players rather take short bow
    over long bow because its skill reuse and dmg outcome is lower than short bow
    overall. Therefor i would suggest giving us more strength with long bow.
  • more ability to single target
  • higher base dmg while taking this trait
    2) Picking: Trapping
  • bonus to trapping dmg for exchange of pet dmg
    * trap combo (if your drop two traps to make an union):
    – spike trap + fire trap = cripple, burning + bonus of combo: daze
    – frost trap + fire trap = chill, burning + bonus of combo: knockdown
    – snake trap+ fire trap = poison, burning+bonus of combo: fear
    – annnd so on… being creative would be nice right?..
    3)Picking: Sign of Hunt
  • Full control and stronger control of conditions.
  • full control of spirits more options to add while not with pet.

Crafting:
And last one should be strong example what would crafting make more useful and alive:
As i’m suggesting the ranger style, i’ll focus only on what could ranger get from crafting:

  • huntsman for rangers:
  • better traps, trap bonus food(dmg,radius etc),
  • Arrow bonus conditions for Condition trait
  • Pet food, armor / gear

This are some of my suggestions, because at the moment i don’t feel like i’m very creative with this what i have (take skills aside, we are talking only about how well you can customize the game itself to get unique style).

Wish I could get back to GW1.. PvP-GvG. It feels like we are outcasted, not desired or rewarded..
