I think it would be convenient if we able to right click an item that was pinged in chat and would give us an option to Buy at Trading Post.

Would be nice in some situations.

It is possible at crafting, so I think it is nice to do this for chat also, we can preview stuff there in the end. Just like i would like to see preview function in TP
